Our mission is to raise awareness of the Library's ever-expanding programs — from art classes, to yoga classes, to comedy, to cultural tours, to picnics in the park, to concerts, to virtual reality games, to movies, to books clubs and more — that all help to foster a sense of community. And we raise funds for special programming that the Library wouldn't be able to offer if it weren't for Friends. Thanks to member support we've helped the Library purchase new books, magazine subscriptions, computers, videos, DVDs, computer furniture, Young Adult room furniture, and most recently the Library's beautifully carved wooden front doors.
